What causes Multiple Food Allergies (MFA) ?

Multiple Food Allergies (MFA) are caused by having cow milk allergy and at least one other food allergy. Like many other food-related allergies, doctors are still trying to understand why some people develop them, and others don’t.

Nonetheless, once a food allergy is diagnosed, the management is to avoid exposure to the food allergen with guidance from your healthcare team.

MFA can affect anyone. 30% of children with cow milk allergy have MFA.

From her birth, Reagan was always fussy when she ate and had reflux. She would cry throughout the day, and for hours every evening. When the doctor suggested I use a hypoallergenic formula, I thought of Neocate. Within a few days her colic and her reflux didn’t seem to bother her. I was finally able to bond with her and gained my confidence back.*
