Neocate® Junior is a range of hypoallergenic amino acid-based formulas made especially for the dietary needs and management for individuals aged 1 and up with cow milk allergy (CMA), multiple food allergies (MFA) and related gastrointestinal and allergic conditions like food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES), eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), gastroesophageal reflux (GER), short bowel syndrome (SBS), and malabsorption.
Many children do not get enough fibre to meet their nutritional needs. However, Neocate® Junior is the very first hypoallergenic amino acid-based formula with fibre for individuals aged 1 and above available on the market. It is designed to meet the nutritional needs of toddlers and children. Additionally, Neocate® Junior comes in a variety of flavours for a variety of preferences, including Unflavoured, Vanilla, Strawberry, and Tropical (all with fibre) as well as Unflavoured (without Fibre). Neocate Junior is nutritionally interchangeable with Neocate Splash.

Your healthcare professional will provide guidance on how much formula your child needs based on their age, condition, and body weight. Neocate® Junior can be consumed orally or via tube feeding. It must always be used under medical supervision. Neocate® Junior is nutritionally complete and can be used as a sole source of nutrition or as a supplement for individuals aged 1 and over.
For tube and oral feeding(not for parenteral use):
*Neocate® Junior is preferably served chilled when taken orally. Do not boil or put the formula in the microwave. Formula can be safely kept at room temperature for up to four hours, at which time unused formula should be discarded. Use the formula mixture within the first hour of feeding or discard formula left in a cup or bottle 1 hour after feeding starts.
The standard recommended dilution is 1kcal / ml. This ratio is obtained by mixing 1 unpacked and levelled scoop of formula to every 30ml of water: Refer to the following table for further details:

Once prepared, store Neocate® Junior formula in a refrigerator. Do not keep longer than 24 hours from the time of preparation. Before feeding, stir or shake the formula until mixed well. Any formula left over from feeding should be discarded. Do not subject the formula to extreme temperatures, such as microwaving, boiling, or freezing.
For tube feeding, formula can be kept at room temperature for up to 4 hours. Discard any unused formula after 4 hours.
Unopened cans can be stored at room temperature. However, once opened, store the cans in a cool, dry location and use them within one month of opening. Do not store in the refrigerator.
